What makes our industrial decor unique

The look of metal, without the constraints of metal.

Most industrial furniture makers work with real metal: welded steel, bent sheet metal, cast iron. The result is stunning, but every piece weighs between 110 and 330 lbs. Shipping requires a specialist. Installation takes several people and sometimes structural reinforcement. And the cost climbs fast.

Our approach is radically different. We start from genuine wood, not polyurethane resin or synthetic materials, and hand-apply finishes that reproduce metal effects with striking accuracy: raw steel, corten rust, aged zinc, patinated cast iron, oxidised bronze. Every texture, every shade, every trace of patina is painted by hand. The result is industrial decor that carries the soul of metal and the lightness of wood.

What this means for your project

Lighter, freer, faster.

Weight reduced by ten. A two-metre faux metal beam can be carried under one arm. An industrial sideboard with steel effect moves with two hands. Our pieces can be fixed to plasterboard, lightweight partitions, standard walls: no structural reinforcement needed.

Fully custom. Unlike traditional metalwork, wood can be worked to the millimetre. Curved shapes, precise cutouts, dimensions matched exactly to your space: everything is possible. We never work from templates, never in batches. Every piece is one of a kind.

100% natural materials. Solid wood, natural pigments, protective varnish. No resin, no plastic, no synthetic compounds. Craftsmanship in the truest sense of the word.

An honest comparison

For professionals

Spaces that customers photograph and share.

Commercial spaces are at the heart of what we do. A restaurant, hotel or bar needs an atmosphere that makes an impression within the first few seconds. Industrial decor delivers that instantly recognisable character, but in venues open to the public, the constraints are stricter.

Our wood-based pieces meet the requirements of public establishments: lightweight (no risk of dangerous falls), fire-retardant finishes on request (M1 classification), natural materials compliant with regulations. And because we work to order, every element adapts precisely to your space, your identity, your atmosphere.

A few projects that illustrate our approach:

Delirium Cafe in Dijon commissioned our workshop to create a complete industrial atmosphere: faux metal beams, steel-effect wall cladding, custom furniture. The result gives this craft beer venue an authentic character that customers photograph and share on social media.

Iki Hana restaurant in Chalon-sur-Saone presented a particular challenge: blending clean Japanese aesthetics with strong industrial touches. The metal-effect beams and patinated wood frames create a striking contrast that defines the identity of the space.

La Traviata in Grenoble and several high-end chalets in Megeve demonstrate the versatility of our technique: industrial decor works equally well in a city-centre restaurant and a mountain interior.

Good to know

Your questions about industrial decor

Is the metal effect convincing up close?

Yes. The finish is applied by hand, layer by layer, including textures, oxidation marks and colour variations. Most visitors assume the beams and panels are real metal until they touch them. This is the illusion that defines our workshop.

What metal effects can you reproduce?

Raw brushed steel, corten rust, aged zinc, patinated cast iron, oxidised bronze, blackened iron. Each finish is mixed and adjusted by hand to match your project. We can also create custom colour references on request.

Why wood rather than real metal?

Weight, versatility and naturalness. A solid wood piece is 5 to 10 times lighter than its metal equivalent, can be fixed to standard walls without reinforcement, and can be shaped to any dimension. The wood also carries natural pigments without synthetic binders.

Can I install these pieces myself?

Yes, for most pieces. Our beams and furniture are designed to be installed with standard fixings, on plasterboard or lightweight partitions. We provide detailed fitting instructions with every order. For large commercial projects we can coordinate installation.

Do you work with professionals (restaurants, hotels)?

Yes, commercial spaces account for a significant part of our activity. We can provide fire-retardant finishes (M1 classification) for public venues, and we handle complete projects from design to installation. Contact us with your brief and we will send a detailed quote.

What are your lead times?

Between 3 and 6 weeks depending on the complexity of the project and our current workload. We confirm the exact lead time when we send the quote. Rush orders can sometimes be accommodated: ask us.

Do you ship outside France?

Yes. Our pieces ship throughout Europe. Shipping costs are calculated based on volume and destination and are included in the quote. For large orders we use specialist art handlers.

How do I get a quote?
